The Ministry of Education and Research reminds you that according to the Law 269/2004 the “Euro 200” programme allowing financial support for computer acquisition is to take place also in 2005. This year the budget allotted to the programme is 201.5 billion lei and the estimated number of beneficiaries is 23,500.
In consequence, according to the legal provisions, the schools and universities have to accept the candidates’ files by 31 March this year, as there is no legal ground for rejection.
The beneficiaries of this allowance – a sum in lei equivalent to 200 Euro – meant to support the acquisition of a new personal computer are pupils and/or students enrolled in public or private accredited educational institutions, aged no more than 26, with a monthly income before tax per family member below 1.5 million lei. In order to establish the monthly income before tax per family member, all permanent income sources of the members of a family in the month preceding the submission of the request will be considered, except for: the state allowance, the additional allowance for the families with many children, scholarships, social scholarships. The minimum compulsory configuration of the computers purchased by means of the financial allowance is 1.6 GHz processor, 128 MB RAM and 40 GB hard-disk, or equivalent.
Those who benefited from this allowance in 2004 there are no longer entitled to submit requests.
